New for 2010:
I will be attending conferences for the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, to keep up on the latest cosmetic dentistry developments and techniques. I will also be attending the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. This involves treatment of snoring and sleep apnea with specialized dental devices.
My staff and I recently updated our CPR and defibrillator training.

What's new at our office
As always, we look forward to seeing our current patients at your next visit, as well as welcome new patients to our office. Visit our office website at www.robertlevydental.comSeptember has been a busy month for our office. We are excited to announce that we have installed a state of the art digital panoramic x-ray machine. This allows us to take images of the jaw to check for tumors, wisdom teeth, bone level, among other things. The advantage of digital are numerous: less radiation to our patients, no waiting for images to develop, no harmful chemicals used to develop images, and better image quality!
I attended the Mid Continent Dental Congress meeting in St. Louis, which features continuing education on the latest topics, as well as displays of the latest dental equipment and materials. I heard an excellent lecture on the latest techniques and materials used for smile enhancing cosmetic dentistry.
October will be a busy month as well. I am speaking to a group of sleep apnea patients on the topic of oral appliances for snoring and sleep apnea. Towards the end of October, I am speaking to a group of physicians at the Missouri Sleep Society Annual meeting, again on the topic of oral appliance for snoring and obstructive sleep apnea.
